New York, NY – The Board of Governors of the Raoul Wallenberg Centennial Celebration Commission including Leon Goldenberg, Ken Abramowitz CEO, NGN Capital; Maria Grasso, Chief Operating Officer of Flushing Bank; Kathryn Soman and Jonathan Zalisky of Health Plus; Dr. David Moskovits; Peter Rebenwurzel; Herbert Block, American Joint Distribution Committee; Councilman Brad Lander;visited the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square this morning to officially ring The NASDAQ Stock Market Opening Bell. The Commission was established Ezra Friedlander CEO of The Friedlander Group to recognize the heroism and accomplishments shown by Raoul Wallenberg in honor of the centennial of his birth.

Throughout 2012, the Raoul Wallenberg Centennial Celebration Commission, an effort spearheaded by The Friedlander Group is engaged in a national campaign to highlight the incredible heroism exhibited by Raoul Wallenberg in saving the lives of 100,000 Jews during the waning days of World War II.
