One incident took place Friday. That’s when a TSA agent at Newark-Liberty International Airport spotted two hand grenades inside a passenger’s carry-on bag.
Turns out the grenades were inert replicas and meant to be used as gearshift knobs in a car.
The TSA wants to remind folks that weapons are strictly forbidden in carry-on bags, though some can be carried in checked bags, depending on state laws. For a complete list of prohibited items, click here. There’s also a TSA app for downloadable here for iPhones.

What a waste of precious resources. They look for “things” that may or may not be harmful. Did we forget the the 9/11 hijackers used box-cutters? Anything could be a weapon, in the hands of trained individuals.
Instead, they should be looking for terrorists, but the politically-correct bureaucracy instead looks for things.

Please find the real weapons not the fake ones that kids are playing with.
It could also be that terrorists are doing this to learn about ways to get around TSA. If they’re caught they go free. If they aren’t, they learned something.
I guess TSA doesn’t have a PT test 😉
