Jerusalem - Report: Netanyahu Promised Obama No Strike on Iran Before U.S. Election
Jerusalem - Israel’s Ma’ariv newspaper reports that President Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu came to an agreement last month that any possible military strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities undertaken by Israel will come after the U.S. Presidential election in November.
According to the Ma’ariv report, Netanyahu was willing to give sanctions and diplomacy more time to bring the Iranian government in line with international expectations over the country’s nuclear program.
