Court documents posted Thursday show Clayton F. Osbon has been indicted on one count of interference of a flight crew. It’s the same charge he’s been held on since short after the March 27 incident.
A secretary for Osbon’s attorney, Dean Roper, says he declines to comment.
Osbon currently is undergoing a court-ordered psychiatric exam to determine whether he was legally sane when passengers wrestled him to the floor after witnesses said he ran through the cabin yelling about Jesus and al-Qaida. It also will determine whether he’s can stand trial.
The first officer landed Flight 191 in Amarillo after locking Osbon out of the cockpit.
He has been indicted in Texas, for one count of Interference with a Flight Crew.
