    Millions in Israel paused to the the wail of air raid sirens, signaling the country to come to a standstill in tribute to the 6 million Jews who perished in the Holocaust.

    An estimated 10,000 young people, took part in the March of the Living in Oswiecim, a town in southern Poland where the Germans operated Auschwitz during World War II. And thousands took part in a memorial event after the traditional procession of the March of the Living at Panerial memorial in Vilnius, Latvia.

    Maybe for just one day, in honor of the Kedoshim, all VIN readers can unite in their memory without extraneous comments as to which Yidden are “to blame” for the Shoah

    As a child of holocaust survivors who are no longer here, all I can do is cry. May Hashem watch over their neshamas and the neshamas of the families they lost.
