On this Holocaust Remembrance Day, I join people of all faiths across the United States, in Israel and around the world in paying tribute to all who suffered in the Shoah — a horrific crime without parallel in human history.

We honor the memory of six million innocent men, women and children who were sent to their deaths simply because of their Jewish faith. We stand in awe of those who fought back, in the ghettos and in the camps, against overwhelming odds.

And in the year of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Raoul Wallenberg, we are humbled by the rescuers who refused to be bystanders to evil.

On this day, and all days, we must do more than remember. We must resolve that “never again” is more than an empty slogan. As individuals, we must guard against indifference in our hearts and recognize ourselves in our fellow human beings.

As societies, we must stand against ignorance and anti-Semitism, including those who try to deny the Holocaust. As nations, we must do everything we can to prevent and end atrocities in our time.

This is the work I will advance when I join survivors and their families at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum on Monday. This must be the work of us all, as nations and peoples who cherish the dignity of every human being.

In contrast with the ignorant statement by the Catholic Bishop in Peoria. The Croatian Catholic Curch had a cardinal a war criminal Cardinal Stepanic who was a fervent supporter Ante Pavelic a war criminala and savage persecutor of Jews in Yugoslavia . The Rat Line in Rome[Catholics] helped escape the worst war criminals , Eichmann, Mengele, Stangl and Brunner to South America. The facilitators to Catholic Bishops, Alois Hudal and Draganovic. Only last British Catholic Bishop named Williamson denied the existence of gas chambers. The Catholic is full of pedirasts which violated young boys or plainly raped them. The Catholic Church has Jewish blood on its hands from Torquada Maso during the Spanish Inquisition and Cardinal Segurra also Spanish who in 1948 tried to form a Crusade against the fledgling Israel. Catholic Popes issued the most vile bullae against Jews and printed by the Stuermer the antisemitic rag of Julius Streicher. Rome is source of antisemitism

During the 3 crusades Catholic Crusaders, raped, pillaged and burned the Jewish communities of Mainz, Reims and across western Germany into France. The Catholic Church is soaked in innocent Jewish blood

Pope Pius the 12th signed the Concordate Pact with Hitler which gave the Nazis respectability in Germany and No 4 you are so right in Buchenwald the elite among the prisoners were the Czechs who paid enormously for elimination of Heydrich. He was shot by Czechs who were prachuted from England in Czechsolovakia and were volunteers. Lidice was razed to the ground and thousands of Czechs were killed. Mrs. Heydrich later said that the world did nopt understand he husband it was a Weltanschauung, hashkofo gassing 1 million of Jewish children. The Catholic Church is like the Roman idol Janus two-faced. In Buchenwald we had Russian, Germans, Czech, French ,Dutch, but no Croatians, Lithuanian or Latvian the scum of the earth

First off…how did Obama’s statement create the above posts?! My sentiments are directed at what he said or what he DID NOT SAY! ONCE throughout his entire political speech, he mentioned Jewish Faith”. Read any other speech regarding today’s services by anyone and you will hear them talk about the lose of 6 MILLION JEWS. Obama makes it sound as if he purposely does not want to talk about Israel being a Jewish State, how we survived as a people and always will! Could those statements cost him votes?
