New Square, NY – Flames gutted a brand new house in Rockland County overnight Thursday.

The fire started in the middle of a row of attached houses under construction in New Square.

Neighbors say the home had its floors polyurethaned just hours before the fire broke out.

Fire departments from surrounding areas are responding to the large structure fire ofthea new three-story multiple dwelling.

Fire Department called a 2nd-Alarm for the fire that was through the roof of the building at 3 Truman Avenue and Berdichev Way
