Brooklyn, NY - Authorities say about 12 people are hurt, two of them critically, following a multi-vehicle crash on the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn.

CBS New York (http://cbsloc.al/MUOJa6 ) says at least four vehicles were involved in the wreck at around 6 a.m. Tuesday.

The pileup snarled morning rush-hour traffic on the parkway.
