Delegates are set to fly in from the US for the event, which a Republican source said would be “a small meeting, but a big fundraiser.”
Immediately after the fundraising meeting, Romney will host a conference in Jerusalem, where he will lay out his Middle East policy.

The US sends billions to israel each year and then the presidential candidate goes to israel to get the money back. Am I missing something?
But this is very wrong timing from their part and in the wrong location for a day like this>
shame on them
Maybe it will be after sunset.
they save money no catering necessary
That’s on ט׳ באב he is gona come here and make a big party on ט׳ באב
tisha b’Av this year is on Shabbos
Who is he planning to invite and who is NOT going to attend? The NOTS is a better answer!! He is beginning to show is colors!! Flip flop!!
Goyim are allowed to have a fundraiser on this day. With food.
Mitt is in dire need of a sensible Jewish advisor that knows some basic halacha.
If you give up choc cake, they may let you in for only 55,000.
Well, hopefully we’ll all be eating fleishigs this year anyway. All together. And articles like this won’t mean anything.
60,000 a plate for an empty plate!
If I don’t eat because of the tainis will Mit give me a discount?
Could it be that this is the true Seudas Moshiach? I hope so.
WWI started on tisha b’av and the final; solution or Endloesung started on Tisha b’av in 1942 with the deportation of Jews from Warsaw to Treblinka. Put the blame on the “tzionym” or chilonim but your Republican savior will find grace in some of you too.
This is very poor taste!! Goes to show you what they really think of us!!
Btw, July 29th is on Sunday the nidcha of Tisha B’av. This dinner will take place in the eve when the fast is over. We will be allowed to do everything then from laundry to music since it’ll be the 11th of AV.
so there is no problem.
Shame on the Romney(/Bloomberg) ticket.
Remember the Bais Hamikdash was still burning on 10 Av. Could he not have waited? A little respect?????? I thought he wanted the Jewish vote??
