Washington - President Obama’s campaign continued on Saturday to prosecute its case against Mitt Romney for holding offshore accounts, releasing a new television ad that mockingly shows Mr. Romney, the Republican candidate, singing “America the Beautiful.”

The president’s campaign has spent more than a week hammering Mr. Romney’s personal wealth and calling on him to disclose more information about his personal finances by releasing his tax returns.

The new ad — which the campaign said was running in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia — reminds viewers of those issues even as it shows a clip of Mr. Romney singing at a campaign event in Florida earlier this year.

It says Mr. Romney shipped jobs to Mexico, China and India — accusations that Mr. Romney’s campaign vehemently denies. And it notes that Mr. Romney had “millions” in a Swiss bank account and “tax havens” in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.

“Mitt Romney’s not the solution,” the ad states. “He’s the problem.”

I saw it tonight in Ohio. Very good commercial. Romney is totally out of tone and key and his whole sound of a patriotic song you can hear his pocket change jingling in the back of his soul and waiting to be spent and placed in tax shelters. Good for the future. No Romney for America.

Romney is going off to EY to schnuer some more money from rich yidden while the schneurers from EY are flying to the NY to bring some money back to their mosdos in EY. Whats wrong with this picture??

OblameO's issue with this is that he can't sing it or even utter the words "America The Beautiful" without his teleprompter! And even if he said it, we KNOW he doesn't mean it!

The Republicans really messed up by choosing this guy during this time. Romney has no clue what it's like for the average American. At least Obama grew up poor/middle-class and worked his way up (maybe with assistance from affirmative action, but Romney definitely benefited from his own ancestry).

To a kneitch,
It goes against the values I have as an American citizen who has faith in our founding fathers as well as a Torah observant Jew to endorse the ways and issues of a man who flouders with his very intelligence in terms of sporting a way of life that is not orientated to charity for the soul and righteous needs for a nation in serious imporverishment in terms of its citizens needs and its communities aspirations today. I am a Torah orientated jew and I do not agree that Romney has any orthodox means in terms of his own discontent with the honor and dignity that the Democrats have brought to office in a servant who is clean and rounded in terms of his own sense of humanity. I doubt that Romney will bring any substance forward in the debates at any major experience for me and I really find that Mr. Romney has a long way to go in terms of his own humanity and his own sincerity to be an American. So when I hear him trying to sing a beautiful song without the soul to appreciate the nation, I cringe.
You can manifest the right wing agenda all you want, but please do not belittle the jews who do not believe that Romney is right for our nation.

Hmph. This coming from the guy who won't even put his hand over his heart during the National Anthem????
As far as BO coming from poor/middle class ... still haven't seen his school records. How does a poor boy pay for Harvard? He and his wife are sure making up for their "poor" upbringing on the tax payers dime. How many vacations have they had? How many parties have they thrown? Are they still flying in meat from Seattle at $100. a pound? Why hasn't the liberal news media being sharing THAT kind of information with the American people? I am not sure how many poor or middle class people can relate to that. I know I am finding it hard to pay for meat where I live, thanks to the government taking down Rubashkin.

Looking at it from as a Canadian: Are Americans really stupid enough to elect the same disaster over again? The alternative may not be the the greatest choice, but sure knows how to run a business and how to get things done. "Making money" are not dirty words. Ask yourself who will get the country rolling again? Hussein or Mitt?

Orthodox jews do not offer gay marriage, but the fact is that gay issues are issues for human interest today and we have an obligation to support human rights. This does not mean we are going to allow or encourage our children to find this type of lifestyle, but the simple fact is that gay americans have a right to exist and those who are not in a Torah lifestyle and Ideally not jews have their priviledges that are given by law. So its very difficult to finally accept until you reach out to humanity and understand G-ds plan, but Gay rights are a Torah issue that you might wish to learn if you want to be online with Torah as it is written.

Although I am against gay "marriage", if two gay people decide to "marry" it does not affect us. However, many Orthodox Jews are on food stamps, Medicaid, WIC, Medicare, Social Security and other government programs. We should therefore be a little more aware of how opposing a supposedly "socialist" president vs. a president for the rich, will affect us.

I am really not sure that letting 2 men marry in the general community is any worse than letting the world eat their treif either. Either way, it would upset me myself more to be in that relationship, but abomination is an abomination. And 15, you are a nasty voice and I do know Hashem quite well. Thank you.

the fact that so much are on governments programs (and happens to be i don't have all this programs and pay my "Fair share") doesn't make it a good thing! fact is that its bankrupting our economy which will cause in the end that everyone will go broke, the fact that a president doesn't do in his term to cut the deficit or to cut this program but just the encourages it by calling it a fair share is the irresponsibility of a man in his position

From time immemorial, unethical and immoral behavior has been happening around us - in all the ancient and modern-day countries in which we have lived. To vote or not vote for a politician based on issues that do not affect us (because we can choose to not have them affect us by engaging in and teaching moral and ethical behavior) seems dumb, when there are other issues which DO affect us. I totally agree that we should vote for the politician whose policy on Israel, Healthcare, taxes, Yeshiva vouchers, government programs etc. agrees with what each of us personally believes. These issues do affect us, either our pocketbook, healthcare choices or Israel. But to vote for someone based on his/her feeling about gay marriage or abortion rights seems ludicrous when there are other issues involved.

To #8-Torontonian- I'd like to remind you that not too long ago, the Canadians chose a Prime Minister (Pierre Trudeau), who refused to authorize any prosecution of Nazi war criminals living in Canada. His reasoning was that "it would only create tension among the Eastern European groups living in Canada". What bubba meises that was!

since the modern era, when jews have been living in democracies, there has never been such a breakdown in public morality,in numerous areas,as there is now. to think this doesn't effect us is simply burying one's head in the sand.however i do agree that we have a host of issues which are important to us and it's important to look at the entire picture.

Reply to 12 As jews are look on the world comes from our Torah. we all know why hashem sent a "MABEL" on the world, that was not for jews, just for his people on the world hashem wants the whole world to be moral, and that's the 7 mitzves bnei noach. if someone has some morality to himself and he thinks that a human are something more of animals he wouldn't support gay marriage.its a pitty on someone that calls himself a jew should be so far from torah and he shouldn't have any problem with a president who support gay
