On one hand it was a huge kiddush hashem. On another it was a larhe chillul hashem since it inconvenienced 10,000’s of people trying to get home from work. It took my wife over 2 hours to get home when it normally takes 50 minutes. (The flip side is that she got a lot of learning done on the bus).

    #1 and #1 5
To you #1 I can only say that you need to work on yourself. Because if such an achdus’dig evening and ispirational few hours still allowed you to dare the audacity of being cynical to even one group of yidden then you
    and to
#1 5 I’m happy to hear that you even had the notion of giving this evening even a minute minimal commend of being a kiddush hashem. Albeit absolutely underestimated in your words, I guess from people like you that seem to focus only on petty and inferior inconveniences we should be happy that for such a kadosh event you had even something of even small positivism for this uplifting ceremony.
All I can say is that I picture moshiach where all the yidden will gather together. Hats and shirts and anything else wont matter but their neshama and outreach to it. They will rejoice and dance and have the revelation of true kedusha and shleimus of our world but at the side will be a group of yidden that even in the moment of utmost kedusha and finally finally the wholesome redemption will stand and not allow themselves to fully experience the joy and its beauty because they had a thought of “why are “they” there”? or ” there was such a chillul hashem/traffic.

I was trying to access the stream to no avail last night, as my filter, despite its being on the lowest setting didn’t allow it!!
