Community First, which was founded by Caller, was created in an attempt to represent the individual by creating jobs, growing the economy and ensuring that young adults are properly educated.

“We give our kids a good chinuch and we work hard to grow talmidei chachamim,” Moshe Friedman, political advisor to Rabbi Caller, told VIN News. “But many of our twenty year olds are lacking in necessary reading, writing and math skills and without those tools how can we expect them to support a family and hold down a job? We have lots of organizations that help people who are in crisis. But Community First is about helping people before their situation becomes dire.”

For Caller, himself an attorney and, at one time, a candidate for the newly created Senate “Super Seat”, throwing his support behind Hikind was the obvious choice.

“Dov has always been there, giving his all for both large institutions as well as the individual,” said Friedman. “When you talk about a politician who literally gives his life to help others, even people outside his district, you are describing Dov. He is someone who really wants to make a difference.”

Hikind was both honored and proud to have received the endorsement from Community First.

“Nachman Caller is an individual who cares for his community, puts himself out on a personal level, at times spending his own money to make a difference,” said Hikind. “I give him a lot of credit for all that he does and I can’t even begin to express how much I appreciate his support.”

I disagree with Dov about a number of things, but I gotta admit he has a good heart and is sincere.

Both great people and a great organization who fights for the truth and exposes the sheker and how are being exploited in exchange for bread crumbs.

I know Dov and affirm that he does all he can to do all that is right, just, caring, and helpful for the most people. It’s a near impossible job as some people are always against you, no matter the cause. I’m glad to see him on an Independent ticket. Ken yirbu.

A dirty politician who sends negative posters to my mailbox, attacking his JEWISH opponent, is immature, not professional, NOT kind Midos, and doesn’t get any votes.
