Jerusalem - Ahead of the Rosh Hashana holiday beginning tonight, Jerusalem police and border police fan out across the Old City and central areas to ensure orderly flow of traffic.

Thousands of police and border police will be concentrated around east Jerusalem, the Western Wall, and major shopping areas and markets in the city center order to keep order during the chaotic pre-holiday preparations.

Police will also do extra patrols at parks and the Old City during the holiday.
