Brooklyn, NY – At an yesterday to inaugurate his Borough Park campaign headquarters, Simcha Felder received the blessing and support of the Burshtiner Rebbe, Rabbi Dovid Eichenstein, for his bid in the recently-formed 17th Senatorial district. It has become somewhat of a tradition among political candidates – both Jewish and non-Jewish – to seek and receive the blessings of prominent rabbis.

According to a press release by the Felder campaign, The Rebbe spoke glowingly of Felder after affixing the mezuzah to the doorpost at 5223 13th Avenue, across from the Shomrei Shabbos shul. “Simcha should have the strength to be a great representative,” the Rebbe said. “He is surrounded by good people who support him. Simcha will serve the entire community with honor, and everyone should be part of this great effort.”
Felder will face off against Republican incumbent David Storobin in November, and is running on the Democratic, Conservative and Tax Cuts Now lines. The Felder campaign will officially open the Borough Park campaign headquarters with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this Sunday, October 21st at 12 PM.
Out of all the rabbis in Brooklyn, one supports this anti-Frum candidate. I wonder how many support Storobin?
there is no such thing as anti frum!!! just decide which one supports your situation better…who gets it,,whos going to enhance your life, ect…thats the one you vote for, it doesnt matter which one wear what or sides with….i.e. it doesnt matter that mit romney is a morman what matters is that hes for growing the economy, get rid of frivolous spending, and get real on issues….obama is in delusion and just a talker but not a doer,
face the fact! felder will win by a landslide! look how felder crushed tishler by 75%-15%, storobin has no chance, he won in 1st place by 10 votes over fidler who was “anti-frum” well if he hardly beat fidler, he can not beat felder…
simcha we cant wait for nov 6 to vote you in!
we need more simcha!!
