Cairo – Despite his recently declared commitment to maintaining and strengthening Egypt’s 1979 peace treaty with Israel, Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi was seen in an Egyptian Channel 1 broadcast attending an October 19 Islamic prayer service where Egyptian Cleric Futouh Abd Al-Nabi Mansour, Head of Religious Endowment of the Matrouh Governorate, asks Allah to kill all the Jews and their supporters throughout the world.

Morsi appears fully engaged in the service, sitting cross-legged on the ground with his eyes closed, his hands raised in prayer, answering “amen.”
“Oh, Allah, absolve us of our sins, strengthen us, and grant us victory over the infidels. Oh Allah, destroy the Jews and their supporters,” Mansour said. “Oh Allah, disperse them, render them asunder. Oh Allah, demonstrate your might and greatness upon them. Show us your omnipotence, oh Lord.” The video clip of Mansour was translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).
This was Morsi’s first visit to northwest Egypt since he became president. Following Mansour’s prayer, Morsi addressed those assembled and spoke about the need for unity among Egyptians.
