Speaking in Jerusalem Monday, Carter called the current situation catastrophic. He condemned Israel’s West Bank settlement construction and the growing isolation of east Jerusalem from the West Bank. “We’ve reached a crisis stage,” he said.

Carter is a longtime critic of Israeli policies. His 2006 book, “Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid,” claimed that Israel’s settlement of Palestinian land was the primary obstacle to Mideast peace and outraged many Israelis.

He’s currently on a two-day visit leading a delegation known as the “The Elders,” including the former prime minister of Norway and the former president of Ireland. The group met with Israeli President Shimon Peres and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

The group departs for Egypt on Tuesday.

    Ymach shmo v’zichro.

Maybe he should read the news article today about the president of Egypt praying for the death of all Jews in the world. Or, maybe that’s irrelevant, because Carter too is hiding his hatred of Jews under the guise of criticizing Israel.

Thank G-d! Israel has never had so much peace and prosperity in this time of Carter’s Vanishing Peace…

We know what Carter et al, consider peace: The peaceful quiet of dead Jews.

The Peanut Farmer, the Potato Farmer, and the Salmon Farmer, should all stay in their respective countries and STAY OUT OF ISRAEL!

Perhaps the peanut farmer should read VIN’s article from today: “Egyptian President Answers Amen to Cleric’s Prayer for the Destruction of Jews.”

The real obstacle to peace is, and always has been, the refusal of Muslims to accept a Jewish state.

Let’s recap, Jimmy Carter, The prime minister of Norway, and the president of Ireland, All great friends of Israel (Both Norway and Ireland are leading proponents of Boycots and divestment, not to mention enthusiatic supporters of the “flotillas”).
The only person missing from this group is “screwy Louis Farrakhan”.
One has to wonder why this noxious group of has-beens, doesn’t attempt to enter and mediate a cease fire in Syria (only 30,000 dead and counting).I’m sure Mr. Assad With the encourgement of messrs. Ahmadinijad and Puttin, will be happy to host them.

Given Carter’s handling of the hostage taking at the US Embassy in Teheran (which was even worse than Obama’s handling of the attack on the American Embassy in Benghazi), he is one of the main causes of the problems in the Mideast.

I met and spoke with Carter after he was president and was working on a project for Habitat For Peace in New York’s East Village. He is truly a man of peace and not
anti-semitic.He may be way off on many issues but he truly believes his solutions can lead to peace . That doesn’t make him an anti-semite.
The bottom line is that he brought Begin and Sadat to the peace table to sign a peace that has endured until recently. That is more than any world leader has been able to do and certainly more than his mindless critics will ever accomplish !
And remember also, he is not advocating anything more than the misguided
Israeli left. This is coming from a true political conservative and orthodox Jew !!

Mr. Anon has it wrong. The only reason he is credited with bringing peace is because Sadat saw the handwriting on the wall and he gave up his life for peace.
He was a man of great courage in daring to go to the Knesset and speaking with his heart. When Begin, saw this he reached with out stretched arms to embrace the possibility of a real peace. Carter just road along for the ride.

Why did Israel allow this group of bums to enter?

Remember the Rabin-Arafat talks. WHat headway was made? None, because of Arafat’s stubborness. And the talks at Wye plantation? No results- Barak came ready with maps and documents-but the Arabs were out for all or nothing. Now- who is responsible for the deadlock? How dare you blame Israel for the “vanishing” peace efforts! How dare you try to take a population and handcuff them and not allow them to provide for their citizens!
