On Tuesday, Pascrell easily defeated Republican Rabbi Shmuley Boteach (bo-TAY’-uhch), a onetime spiritual adviser to Michael Jackson.
The heavily Democratic district includes parts of Bergen and Passaic counties. It was redrawn after the 2010 census.
The race was thrust into the national spotlight after reports that casino mogul Sheldon Adelson donated $1 million to a super PAC affiliated with Boteach.
Pascrell was elected to Congress in 1996. His campaign focused on issues including foreclosures and veterans.
Boteach wrote the book “Kosher Sex” and appeared on a reality TV show. He wanted to provide tax breaks for businesses that closed on their religious day of rest and make marriage counseling tax-deductible.
I guess the book “Kosher J-sus” was not kosher enough for him to get that much non jewish support huh?
Boteach wrote the book I wont say here but the rest of us will get %#^&&^ by the yishmaeli loving Pesky Pascrell
baruch hashem
another blow to the Yidden.
He’s still young
He jumps in front of every camera and behind every mike. But it wasn’t enough. A professional with actual experience and a long history of service in his district won. Who would have guessed?
Best news of the night. Something to smile about that there was one inkling of common sense.
Perhaps he should have sent a kivitel to the Zion of Michael Jackson .
too bad slifkin wasn’t running with him. we could’ve had ‘kosher zoo yushka’ losing.
He got what he deserved. Defeat! Who knows maybe he’ll write a book: “Kosher Defeat”?
i would be happy for him if he won, why this hatred ?
