i beg to understand how a Russian leader does not get it that it is actually him who is escalating this whole violence.

Russia’s “deep concern” is such a joke. Is it like Russia’s deep concern for the people of Syria who are being attacked daily by the Syrian gov’t with Russia’s ok?

    Very caring, that Russian go’vt.

Did this same Russian foreign minister urge Hamas to “exercise restraint” when it was raining missiles into Israel on a continuous basis? Did anybody? Did anyone care? Israel declares enough’s enough and suddenly there’s an uproar. Do you get the feeling that nobody really gives a darn about spilt Jewish blood? Then again, what else is new……

Just curious. Did Mr. Lavrov speak to the Hamas leadership as well?

Hmm. I don’t recall Russia exercising restraint in Goergia just four years ago.

It is so rediculous that all of the countries such as the US, Uk, EU, Germany, France, Russia and others warn Israel to use restraint especially when if you look at the histories of these countries they are the last one’s to give advice about restraint. Their anti-semetic feelings come accross loud and clear. If they realy want Israel to use restraint they could join in helping Israel to use economic boycotts, naval blockages, political issolation, and other various means against Hamas and to those who support them to make sure that Hamas does not attack Israel. These statements puts full responsibility squarely upon Israel and it absolves Hamas of any responsibility or wrong doing in this conflict. The support Israel is getting in this conflict from these countries is very flawed and one-sided against Israel. No one should ever be fooled to think that these countries are truely supporting us. This proves that our only savior is Hashem alone!

Why would mr Sergey lavrov act with restraint if some evil group would be throwing missiles at his country for the past 12 years , I don’t think he would wait that long or excessive restraint.

Yes; I remember how “restrain” the Russian response was to the Chechen rebels. I think Israel should just copy the Russian military’s playbook and flatten gaza.

Restraint= more rockets in Israel. Russia should exercise restraint in commenting on communities it has little to offer life and hope to in the future.
