Don’t know who’s masquerading as me (tziony – comment #3) but it’s a little too early to heap any praise on Obama. At this point, Israel, after being the recipient of numerous daily rocket attacks finally decided to strike back in it’s own defense. No one (other than the Arab countries and not even all of them have come out against Israel) can legitimately say Israel shouldn’t be doing what it’s doing. Especially in the way that it currently is going about it which is pinpoint strikes on terrorists and the missile launching and storage sites. Unfortunately, to really clean things out, and Israel will probably have to go in on the ground. That is where it’s going to get ugly and more drawn out. Let’s see if Obama remains a strong supporter of Israel during the entire operation or if he starts putting pressure on Israel to stop.

The man, Obama who stuck his shoes in Natanyahu’s face several years ago hasn’t changed, the situation has changed. Most of Obama’s donors are Jews. They warned him that they are donating to his campaign only if he supports Israel. In addition, many powerful Democrats are pro-Israel. Obama is still the same but his hands are tied and he has no choice but to follow the party line. In addition, the Democratic party must look to the future uncoming mid-term elections in 2014 and the elections in 2016. The Democrats need the big Jewish money to survive. This is why Obama is supporting Israel for now and not because he loves Israel.

Obama is our Prescient, and we should the holder of that position. We should thank him for what he has done.

WASHINGTON – Published: 07.27.12, AP President Barack Obama said Friday he is releasing an additional $70 million for Israel’s Iron Dome rocket defense system,…

The stepped-up US aid, first announced in May, will go to help Israel expand production of the short-range rocket defense system, which has proved successful at stopping rocket attacks fired at Israeli civilians from close range, including from Gaza. …

“As many of you know, I have made it a top priority for my administration to deepen cooperation with Israel across the whole spectrum of security issues, intelligence, military, technology,” Obama said during the signing ceremony.

Sherry, your obsessive love for Obama is nauseating. Maybe it’s because you really don’t understand what we have gone through for thousands of years & his blanket admiration for his good buddies, the Muslim Brotherhood, shows exactly who he is. He has never been a friend to Israel. I am astounded he said what he did, it is the first time he actually defended Israel. Now let’s see him put his money where his mouth is…send more arms to Israel, more anti-rocket, anti tank equipment etc. Basically, he needs to prove what he says, because as welcome as his words seem to be, I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could throw him.

It is incredible how many sour grapes which still exist on this site, nearly two weeks after Romney lost. Romney is a pariah, and is despised by the leadership of the Republican party. He hasn’t been seen since his loss, and he will continue to be invisible from this time forth!

The fact is that theoretically speaking, Obama is kind of forced to support Israel or else he will risk support of Israelis and Americans. We haven’t seem the fruits of Obama’s decision about Israel so we shouldn’t be so judgmental. Either way, his actions of the past four years indicate that he has an inherent hostility towards Israel so it’s another one of his ploys to bolster his own self-image and reputation. It’s the truth.
