‘John Doe Duffel Bag,’ a person of interest murders of three Brooklyn shopkeepers, showed up on his own to 68 Precinct and was questioned by police on Tuesday Nov. 20, 2012.New York - NBC 4 is reporting that the NYPD in Brooklyn are questioning a man who may be “John Doe Duffel Bag,” the balding man with a mustache who was seen on surveillance video near the scene of the latest slaying in series of deadly shootings of Brooklyn business owners of Middle Eastern descent.
The man, described as a person of interest, was picked up in Bay Ridge on Tuesday afternoon and is talking to police.
The man being questioned is not in police custody and has not been arrested, Deputy Police Commissioner Paul Browne told WCBS 880.
