La Paz, Bolivia – VIN News has confirmed that as a result of the latest developments in the Ostreicher case, Brooklyn businessman Jacob Ostreicher is under extremely tight security at a Santa Cruz clinic and has been required to wear a bulletproof vest for his own safety.

Sources told VIN News that armed guards from both Venezuela and office of Bolivian president Evo Morales have been stationed outside Ostreicher’s room for his own protection. Bolivian police officers have been banned from entering Ostreicher’s room as well.

this sound strange, it seems they know he is innocent and others are guilty. Or. maybe they are afraid he will talk. My bet is he is innocent, and want him as a witness. some way to treat a state witness
Bolivian security is a joke. I’m very concerened about his safety.
They should return the 25 million the corrupt Bolivian government officials stole from him plus interest, plus compensate him for the false and drummed up allegations as well as for languishing under miserable conditions in jail for 18 months, that ultimately caused him to contract Parkinson’s disease and last but not least damages for all of the above.
