Washington – White House: U.S. Preparing Contingency Plans Over Concern On Syrian Chemical Weapons

EPAWashington – The United States’ concerns about Syria’s intentions regarding use of chemical weapons is increasing, prompting Washington to prepare contingency plans, White House spokesman Jay Carney said on Monday.

    Carney’s comments came after Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned that the United States would take action if Syria used the weapons.

    Carney declined to say what the contingency plans involved.

    If we need to make contingency plans now, then what have all those Bright Minds in the Pentagon and White House, etc., been doing for the past couple of decades?

    In 1982, Assad’s father, Hafez Al-Asad, laid siege to the Syrian town of Hamma, and within 2-3 days, wiped out over 20,000 inhabitants, killing anyone who he thought was against his regime, including innocent civilians. At that time, there was 0 reporting on the incident in the media!
