Denmark – If you are a Jew living in or visiting Denmark, you may want to think twice about wearing a yarmulke or speaking Hebrew in public according to Denmark’s Jewish Religious Community organization and the Israeli ambassador to Denmark.

“We advise Israelis who come to Denmark and want to go to the synagogue to wait to don their skull caps until they enter the building and not to wear them in the street, irrespective of whether the areas they are visiting are seen as being safe,” Arthur Avnon, Israel’s ambassador to Denmark told AFP (http://read.bi/W6qcWy). Avnon said tourists should also be careful about wearing Star of David or other identifiably Jewish pieces of jewelry. Jewish private schools in Copenhagen were also told to take precautions.

The warnings were issued following an attack on the Israeli embassy in Copenhagen on November 19 in retaliation for Israel’s settlement expansions and its Pillar of Defense Operation against Hamas. During the embassy attack, which involved fireworks and stone-throwing, the word “childkillers” was scrawled in paint on the embassy entrance wall. There was no official response to the incident from the Denmark government.

An estimated 6,000 to 8,000 Jews reside in Denmark.

Europe as a whole is dangerous for Jews. It was dangerous for 1700 years. It used to be there was nowhere else to live, but now that there are other options, living in Europe is just endangering yourself.

If Denmark does not stop it it would spread to the wider population. May be not tomorrow then day after tomorrow.

It is really a shame that such crimes occur in Denmark,of all countries. In 1943, just before Rosh Hashanah, the local Danish community, assisted in relocating nearly all of the Jews out of Denmark, by ship to Malmo, Sweden. When I visited Denmark years ago, I saw various awards in The Resistance Museum, which were presented to the Danish Government, for its assistance, in saving thousands of Jews. When the Jews returned to Denmark in 1945, their homes were waiting for them, and had been protected by their gentile neighbors. This was unlike the situation in Poland, where the few returning Jews were treated with contempt, and had their homes taken over. Unfortunately, the problem in Denmark today, does not emanate from the local Danes, but from the Arabs who have moved to Denmark.

this is really horrific.i never expected much from the other anti-semitic countries of europe but that the danes should now join the chorus is odious. It was the daneswho ferried jews to sweden to save them (even if they got paid for it -they still did it at risk to their lives), it was the danes who watched and took care of jewish property until the jews were able to return, it was the danish church across the street from where the melchiors were rabbis, that hid torah scrolls in the vault of the church beneath their building.it may have been their king (or perhaps the swedish king- ) who put on the yellow jude armband and proclaimed his solidarity with the jewish citizens of his country. how sad when your friends turn on you.
all we have left on earth is a few counrties supporting us.most important-is of course avinu shebashamayim
    et tu brute !

#10 - the danish government did not condemn the activity and the rise of anti semitism is not just from the ishmaelites.i wonder about their positions on schecita and brit milah.soon they will join the chorus and declare them to be inhumane.
europe is christendom and most gentiles can’t seem to move away from inherited anti semitism.

Denmark is a wonderful country and most of the Danes are supportive of Jews and Israel. The attack against the Israeli Embassy was almost 100% done by local arab thugs or their tiny group of supporters. The best Jewsih response would be not to cower, but to visit Denmark and show the Magen David!!!
