Another Kerem B’Yavneh alumn…
ימים על ימי מלך תוסיף cant be an easy job taking over from rabbi lord j sacks shlit”a
A most wonderful choice, we as British Jewry can be very proud
Rabbi Mirwis Hatzlocha Rabbo
Hatzlacha Rabbah. May he go from chail al chayel
He looks more ” heimish” then the current Lord. The big Q is does he compare intellectually to Rabbi Saks.?
The job of Chief Rabbi in England is primaraly one to ” defend” the faith and Jewish interests in the UK and I fear that Rabbi Saks will be a very hard act to follow as he has garnered the respect of all the Goyims there
Rabbi Sacks is indeed a personality that cant be rep[laced easily, but we can say that what i have read about Rabbi Mirvis, he is someone that the Hiemishe Kehila in England can see eye-to-eye with.
Definitely looks more yeshivish. Perhaps he can now unite the yeshivish with the more modern in the UK.
