FILE - Yemeni soldiers search vehicles at a checkpoint in Sana'a, Yemen, 22 December 2012, EPAYemen - Yemen websites reported on Wednesday that an Israeli citizen, who has been using two names: an Arab one - Abdallah Muhsan al-Himi al-Siaghi, and a Jewish one – Abraham al-Deri, was arrested in Yemen. This comes after recent news that an Israeli was arrested after crossing illegally into Egypt.
Yemen news websites are reporting that Abraham al-Deri was arrested for working for the Israeli Mossad, setting up a spy network in the country. A news report at yemennation.net
claims that he was arrested in the city of Ta’izz in southwestern Yemen and was transferred to the nearby city of Aden for questioning at Mansoura prison. The report also claims that it is the first time that the Yemeni government has arrested an Israeli citizen.

The Israeli arrested for sneaking into Sinai was headed toward Gaza to fight for the Palestinians. He wasn't there to spy on Egypt. It's the opposite type of story.
