Daniel MagruftaTehran - A 24-year-old Iranian Jew, who was part of one of the wealthiest Jewish families in the Iranian Jewish community, was murdered last week as reported by Israeli Channel 2. The Iranian Jewish community is fuming.
His name was Daniel Magrufta, the son of a well-known businessman. He was dating the the non-Jewish daughter of a member of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.
Channel 2 reported 
that Jewish community suspects that she was involved in the murder, but she was released without any charges being brought against her.

This is the second murder of a jew in as many months,a woman was killed and cut up by her neighbor about 2 months ago they murdered her and cut her to pieces for her real estate they wanted her house out of the way of building a mosque. we ar5e seeing a country that is unbeleivably vicious and evil .

Jews have a longer history of establishment in Persia than history of Jews in Germany or entire European continent. They made it through many revolutions, instability, wars, invasions, changes in power, kings and dominating religions. Even Islamist throne in 70s did not end their existence there.

Reply to #5 its not that easy to move out from your home. Sounds easier than reality. Just like the satmar guys say to all yhe israelis to just move out. Or to just not fight back because we not aloud to. It looks easier than what it really is. Rockets flying in to your house. U cant just shot up or not participate in the IDF

There is a saying that goes like this, it is easier said then done,until you dont move to another coutry from a home you lived all youre life you will never ever know what it is like.

If you have a proper Jewish upbringing how can you equate the two. I am sure in Iran aside from probably being preached that he is part of an unwanted religion he did not get any real reason why to remain a Jew. BTW he probably was marked solely because he was Jewish and now is a martyr Likkiddush Hashem may the Jewish people know no more suffering

we are protected just like any other country here in the us you have terroristic acts and outside enemies just like israel or many other countries have no one is ever protected from everything even in peace you can be murdered just like we saw recently in the scools

Are you serious? you are comparing that to staying single? wow..you mean better he marry a gentile woman than stay single? I wonder where you are coming from and what Torah you are studying! I could guarantee you that the Torah prefer he stay single rather than intermarry....
Besides...you think he had no chances of finding a nice jewish woman, given the amount of money they had....travel around the globe and find someone to suit him...well I guess it doesn't matter.

I have a friend in the Persian community here in Los Angeles who's uncle lives in Tehran although he is Jewish and orthodox he has many connections in the Iranian regime. For reasons I won't go into he cannot leave, his family lives in Los Angeles and he comes occasionally to visit. He told my friend about a year ago that his powerful friends have been telling him "it's time you tell your people to leave while they have the chance".

really? wasn't a young child butchered and cut to pieces here not that long ago? wasn't Leiby's murder a much WORSE crime than one on an adult, with at least financial and other motives for doing it?

Years ago, the non-jews of Iran would not even look at a jew, and would beat them openly in public. But now its not so "bad" for the jews in Iran. They actually live fairly comfortably. The antisemitism is not as open, and the younger generation is forgetting their history and intermingling with the goyim. Sadly, it takes something like this to remind All of us that we are Hashem's children and not put on this earth to be like the goyim or dating them. Hashem should help his family deal with such tragedy.

Even if they can't or don't want to leave, there is a middle point somewhere between leaving the country and dating a daughter of a Revolutionary Guard man. Many Jews got trapped in Germany, yimach shmam, not many of them, however assimilated, dated the daughters of SS or Gestapo men.
