The group has purchased over 220 clocks in the NYC subway systemNew York - The group that equated Muslim radicals with savages in advertisements last year has put up another set of provocative ads in dozens of New York City subway stations.
The American Freedom Defense Initiative purchased space next to 228 clocks in 39 stations for ads with an image of the burning World Trade Center and a quote attributed to the Quran saying: “Soon shall we cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers.”
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority said the ads went up Monday and will run for a month.
The same group paid for ads to be displayed in 10 stations in September. Those ads implied enemies of Israel are “savages.”
The MTA also sold space last year to competing advertisements that urged tolerance.

The way to fight indignity is not to elevate its compliance with first year frivolities. This anti-koranic add campaign is more or less a fart in the face of enlightenment.

The problem is that next time us Jews may become the target of someones agenda. They may cherry pick a passuk in the Torah to put us in a bad light and make people hostile to us.

I fail to see how this application of freedom of speech is helpful...

Enlightenment does not come in the form of stapled reality in the light of deceit. This is a very sad issue to see hanging in our subways. Never Again.

A choice selection of passages from Tanya, Tanakh, Chazal and Rambam would look even worse. When they Jews cheering for this cess pool of hatred and bigotry are on the receiving end will they defend the anti-Semitic remarks as loudly as they do the anti-Muslim ones?

I wish we can protest to have these taken off. It is senseless and will not help any cause in any way.

The terrorists attack us whether we show the world how vile they are or not. So we may as well tell the truth. They can put up whatever Jewish sources they like in response (and they would do it regardless of whether we acted first), but the fact remains that the religion that is killing Americans is Islam, not Judaism, so Americans may as well know how their enemies think.

A choice selection of passages from Tanya, maybe they should get a sign right next to this sign

Racist? No. Radical maybe. It might be used as an excuse by radicals but its not a racism issue.

This is not anti-muslim. It is anti-radical Islamic terror ... a wake-up reminder of the continued worldwide jihadi war on the west ...thousands of terror attacks SINCE 9/11 ... on Jews, on Christians, on the west, on freedom. The Middle East and North Africa will be soon be controlled by extremists. Europe is already overrun by the cancerous extremists. There is still time left here to defend liberty.

Where do I send my contribution to continue "educating" the public about certain radical Islamic movements? It would be the same as if groups placed a sign within public view to reinstate "an eye for an eye" mentality....

Send your money to a Torah charity. Be right.

Anybody can make a short trip to ground zero to see for themselves the difference between the application of the psukim from Torah and l'havdil from Koran. But the scoundrels who want to be hostile to us will be anyway, regardless of what they saw in the subway.

I got stoned "shumuel G". Too much reading daily newspapers, davening in my healthy years and then practicing the truth of Torah. I am glad you are onto my commentary since like many rudimentary unchallenged individuals, a challenge from an educated mind is a stone in their coffin. Good luck in your senseful journey through your likely tribulation to come.
