New York - State To Provide Free Inspections To Sandy Victims
New York - Gov. Andrew Cuomo says the state will offer free safety and health inspections to businesses hit by Superstorm Sandy, saving each of them more than $4,000 and speeding recovery.
The state Department of Labor’s inspectors will go to the areas hardest hit by the October hurricane for free on-site safety and health inspections.
Business can schedule a free inspection by calling 1-888-4-NYSDOL (1-888-469-7365).
Appointments can also be made through the state labor website.
Cuomo says the free inspections should allow businesses to reopen sooner.
