New York - A gun buyback program sponsored by the NYPD and Brooklyn District Attorney’s office has netted 113 weapons including an assault rifle.
The buyback was held Saturday at a church in Brooklyn. Police say 56 revolvers, 34 semi-automatic pistols and three shotguns were recovered, along with BB guns and eight rifles. One of the pistols contained a high-capacity magazine.
Police say since the program’s inception there have been more than 8,100 firearms recovered.
New York state passed the nation’s toughest gun laws this year, following the fatal shooting inside a Connecticut school.

Buying back junk guns. They were paying $200 each.
Foolish liberal play.
People will be buying cheap junk in other states and bring them in, just to make some profit on these "buyback programs"
