In an editorial published on Thursday, the newspaper attacked Bennett for siding with Yesh Atid chairman Yair Lapid in promoting equality of service.
“The man with the kipa the size of an eye demonstrates just how much this kipa is worth – the size of half a shekel,” was written in the editorial.

In these cases, Yosef was acting in his role as a political leader, albeit coming from someone who also is respected as a religious leader by many of the Shas/Sephardeshe tzibur. While I think his comments were inappropriate, in a political context, such language has unfortunately become the norm.
It’s a shame that a “rabbi” is involved in such dirty tacticts and smear campaigns for politics.
disgusting! its disgusting how shash acts….where is there ahavas yisroel….shas is full of sinas chinum….
And this is the sad story of Chareidi Judaism today. Attacking anybody and everybody, fighting bitterly within their own movements, and wondering why people have little respect for them.
When will we see another Aharon Hakohein. Ohev shalom vrodef shalom, oheiv es habriyos umekarvan latorah?
Isn’t it true. He is siding with the biggest anti charedi basher. I understand chilonim hate the frummies but why do frummies hate the haredim?????
This is likely a false report. Why would the Shas MKs apologize to Bennett if Rav Ovadia was behind it? I don’t believe a word of this. Neither should anyone else be Mekabel this Motzi Shem Ra.
Why is it that after seeing all the articles over the years of Rabbi Yosef online, I feel no attachment to his dignity. I am not one to besmirch our gedolim, but I am at a loss to understand his fervor for the insatiable desire to remove the honor of some jewish life from our dignity.
