Israel - 'Shas Paper Attack On Bennett Approved By Rabbi Yosef'
Israel - An official in the Shas-affiliated newspaper Yom LeYom, that attacked Bayit Yehudi chairman Naftali Bennett on Thursday, said the attack received the approval of the party’s spiritual leader Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, Army Radio reports.
In an editorial published on Thursday, the newspaper attacked Bennett for siding with Yesh Atid chairman Yair Lapid in promoting equality of service.
“The man with the kipa the size of an eye demonstrates just how much this kipa is worth - the size of half a shekel,” was written in the editorial.
