According to WORLDTRIBUNE.com (http://bit.ly/YPwfzK), Israeli sources say Obama, who is scheduled to arrive in Israel on March 20, wants a detailed Israeli withdrawal plan from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his visit.

The sources fear any such plan would be considered in what could be an imminent U.S. initiative to establish a Palestinian state in the West Bank in 2014.

“Obama has made it clear to Netanyahu that his visit is not about photo-ops, but the business of Iran and a Palestinian state,” a source said. “The implication is that if Israel won’t give him something he can work with, then he’ll act on his own.”

The demand has sparked concern form Netanyahu, who has been unable to to form a coalition amid a boycott by left-wing parties and an alliance by two new movements—Yesh Atid and Jewish Home—with 31 seats in the 120-member parliament and opposed to major territorial concessions in the West Bank.

To date, Netanyahu has received backing only from the U.S.-supported ‘The Movement,’ led by former Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni.

Yesh Atid is demanding a ban on ultra-Orthodox from the next government.

The ultra-Orthodox comprise nearly 20 seats in the Knesset.

On March 1, the Israeli daily Makor Rishon that the next Netanyahu government would destroy several Jewish communities in the West Bank. The newspaper quoted Likud negotiators as saying that the plan depended on Yesh Atid ending its alliance with Jewish Home—something that doesn’t appear likely.

“The ties between Yesh Atid and Jewish Home are strengthening,” said Uri Ariel, the No. 2 member in Jewish Home.

The sources said the White House warned that Obama’s upcoming visit could characterize U.S. relations with Israel over the next four years. They said Obama aides stressed that Congress, which approves $3.1 billion in military aid to Israel for 2013, supported the establishment of a Palestinian state as a U.S. priority.

“Obama’s people are making this a litmus test of Netanyahu’s leadership and credibility,” a source said.

    He should stay home.
its frightening because bibi is now much too unstable to be able to fight him, Obama is only trying to get famous and be on history not one minute to help Israel.

The combined Indian nations are waiting for a similar plan from the US government to honor the 221 treaties, that the US government unilaterally broke, with them. The combined Indian nations are also waiting for the great Black Chief to honor his ancestors and return the stolen lands to them. When will America own up?

Here we go, the true Obama (with no re-election’s to worry) is about to emerge! And yes, these petty silly issues of Bayit YaHudi is more important, at a time like this! Lapid and Bennet have shown that they are not worthy of any leadership, rather have Labor in the Gov (despite thier positions are at least responsible) than these clowns!

Well now, lets take this back to the senators, congressmen and assemblymen who just last week swore their support for Israel at the luncheon honoring the Iron Dome initiative. Is this how America shows their support for Israel?

linking(policy of linkage between two or more situations and making one dependent on the other) is suicidal for israel.if israel withdraws from areas in yehuda and shomron ,the u s will then step up to iran.israel loses on both.yehuda and shomron were liberated in 1967 and are part of israel for all time.not a centimeter should be given to the terrorist enemy -called the peace partner.
israel will have to go in and take care of business in iran on its’own-
HASHEM YILACHEM LACHEM VE ATEM TACHARISHUN ! just do it already
and when the jets return safely and the enemy is decimated then perhaps the enemies of the jews will bury their heads for a while. ‘the only thing the enemy understands is power and we have to use it on them .

It’ll never work, the palis want Israel to return to the ’67 auschwitz lines. That’ll never happen, unless Israel is ready to commit suicide. They wont accept the West Bank unless it includes East Jerusalem as a minimum. Giving these choleras East Jerusalem would again be suicidal from Israels part.

Is there really anything surprising here? Didn’t we see this coming? Like the astute columnist Michael Goodwin likes to say, the people (of the US) are divided between those who recognize Obama for who he is and those who do not yet see him for who he is. In the meantime the clock is ticking and good time is being wasted…..

So far there is no claimed source for the story. Hopefully it is an inaccurate report.

Would be a big change in Obama’s policy. Until now he has supported the Bush policy of partial withdrawal from the West Bank and land swaps to account for facts on the ground and to create defensible borders for Israel.

Let’s hope this story turns out to be just a story. There may be no stopping the two state solution that American presidents have supported from Bush Sr and on have supported but this would only be the second or third time a sitting president has tried writing the details of the end game.

Israel will survive this attempt too, if the story is even true.

When we, the Jewish People stand together, no one can touch us. When we are divided and quarreling, it is truly frightening. We don’t have to all be the same, but we have to all be respectful of each other.

Um, please pay attention to the source of this article. World Tribune is a fiercely anti-Obama outlet with absolutley no credibility. And what do they base this report on? “Israeli sources.” That’s all the identification that’s provided. Anyone can make up a news report and quote “Israeli sources.” Assuming there even are such “sources,” they could be someone on Israel’s far right that wants Bibi to put together a more hawkish coalition so he figures he’ll put a story out there about big bad Obama getting ready to pressure poor little Bibi. The “source” could even be a vendor in Machane Yeuda who heard a rumor from his brother’s son-in-law who happens to be a security guard at the supermarket where a secretary for a low-level Netanyahu aide does her shopping. The point is, when a joke of an outlet like “World Tribune” reports a story based on unnamed “sources” that no one else in the media is reporting, be very skeptical.

I am not a fan of the President, but in all fairness this article looks like it was written by some Obama-basher with wishful thinking.

The article is so outrageous – even for Obama – that I find hard to believe any of it.
