A chilling videotape showing a congregation of Chasidim being ambushed by a hostile faction during a prayer service at a Williamsburg synagogue has been turned over to the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office.
On the tape, members of feuding sects are seen slapping and punching each other and pulling their opponents’ beards inside the synagogue last week.
The videotape, from a security camera, shows thugs allegedly brought in by the invading up state Aaron’s faction choking a man who is struggling to free himself.
In another segment, they break into the grand rebbe’s sanctuary.
Security cameras were installed after followers from Aaron threatened to break into the Brooklyn synagogue during the holiday of Shmini Atzeres, as they did last year.
No one was arrested in the rumble, but dozens of cops were called to quell the violence.
