The TIMES HERALD-RECORD (http://bit.ly/12vy4I7) is reporting that the vote to halt the project is the latest chapter in the ongoing controversy surrounding the project which has resulted in two county lawsuits already.

At the heart of the controversy are complaints from Woodbury officials that the proposed connection of a dormant Cornwall well by Kiryas Joel might “impinge” on their own wells.

Multiple parties involved have petitioned the state requesting hearings on the matter.

Kiryas Yoel residents are luky to be drinking untill now Cleaner water with No worms & insects from the Resev,
They don’t need a filter in the Tap.
So they will have to wait untill the State will let them Drink the Sheretz Water.

Strange, isn’t it. Not only does our behavior ensure that “Eisuv Soina lyakov,” but that other Jews also are soina you. Everyone’s crazy but me and thee, and I’m starting to have my doubts about thee.

“Just a reminder we are in gules”

No. It’s just a reminder to get the appropriate permits like everyone else.

what antisemitism, just because people do not give in to every demand from a frum community does not mean antisemitism. There seems to be issues that need to be addressed

Actually, not “fargining” Jews water they need for (their community’s) survival is blatant anti-semitism. That’s why they keep on finding reason after reason for lawsuit after lawsuit and obstacle after obstacle. It’s not protocol or their own water they’re worried about, it’s the fact that enough water means the community will expand, and chalila vice-versa. At least some of you are honest enough to admit that you hate them all the same. In mitzraim we also had the eirev-rav emulating the Egyptians…

Like everyone else, the Village needs to apply for and be granted a permit from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. They are not being singled out. All municipal water systems and private water companies must secure a permit to activate a well. It is the law.

    Luke.

The village of KJ has all the necessary permits for the well, the permits in questions is for the Aqueduct connection which is a different project, the reason why Woodbury is opposing the well is because they are concerned that if KJ fails to secure permits and connect to the Aqueduct then the well will be used as the primary source of water rather then just a backup, (the backup well was a requirement and condition from the state to ensure alternative waster source in the event the aqueduct connection is to be shut for emergency repairs etc.)

So all of you who bashed KJ for trying to work without permits please educated yourself on the matter,

P.S its not always “cool “to automatically take side with the Goyim,
