EPA/KOBI GIDEON / ISRAELI GOVERNMENT Jerusalem – President Shimon Peres returned to Israel on Thursday afternoon from an official visit in Italy, where he met with the Italian president and the prime minister in Rome, and with Pope Francis in the Vatican.

    “I return to Israel with the knowledge that the State of Israel has a true friend in the Vatican and in the Italian leadership,” Peres said.

    He expressed confidence the Israeli-Italian relations will continue to deepen in the year to come.

    You would think that a place so used to hosting non Christian foreign diplomats would have a reception room without such offensive avodah zorah.

    to the contrary. they are pretty proud of theirs and we should be of ours in an even greater way when people come to visit us.

    Blessing Israel would be a better mode for the church. I mean, if they do not say we killed their little idol as they did for years, does this really mean that they are still totally in favor of our people? Clearly they are doing what is politically expedient and not just what is rightfully trusted. But its a step closer to at least a peaceful future at some length. Would be nice if they denounced missionaries that seek to destroy jewish lives.

    The Vatican holds vast amounts of stolen Jewish possessions in its library. The polish Pope legitimized arafat POP by meeting w them a dozen times. The nazi Pope nominated several Jew hatred for sainthood. Is Peres duped? They won’t ever help us.
