According to Tech guru Barry Schwartz of seroundtable.com (http://bit.ly/Zt7kXU) an email sent out by Rabbi Dov Greenberg from the Chabad of Stanford titled “Google Glass Tefillin Stand” suggests that students visit the booth and put on Tefillin, after which putting on the Google Glass allows them to see the prayer.
Greenberg said the wrapping of Tefillin was a “first” for many Jewish students who stopped by, and for most it was their “first time” using both Tefillin and the Glass.
I think this is great. You gotta love Chabad !!!
Love these chabad rabbis! Good job, Rabbi!
What does he say when girls and non-jews approach his stand and ask to participate?
Chabad in the 21st century!! This is the way to go!!
remember 40+ years ago when the Lubavitcher Rebbe encouraged laying tefillin on non-frum people many frum people (including past Gedolei Hador) screamed and berated Chabad for that? nice to see that lately the kiruv movement have adopted the same practice! Kol Hakavod to Chabad for doing anything to get a Yid to do this precious mitzvah (even if he is not frum)
Chabad, always 1 step ahead of the game.
Keep it up.
Explorer edition is pretty expensive
ChaBaD will clearly be the first jews to daven on the moon!!!!!!!
