POLITICKER.co (http://bit.ly/15AvXAo) reports that Quinn accused her opponents of pandering by “going into a synagogue” and “telling them what they want to hear, just so you can get their vote”

Quinn said that “is not” leadership.

Quinn went on to re-state her own views on MP, saying that procedures that involve “unhealthy” methods “aren’t going to continue without proper notification.”

Pot calling the kettle black. All politicians pander for votes. It’s how they get chosen for the ballot in the first place by pandering and cuckolding to political clubhouses, unions, and self-anointed community activists. She thinks Tammany Hall collapsed? Wonder what she promises to her constituent base and their ancillary supporters?

It has been shown that the risks of metzizah b’peh are miniscule and far below that of infections in hospitals. Quinn had voted against measures to help the working class on a regular basis until she started running for mayor and for obvious reasons supports toeva.

At last night’s Flatbush Jewish community Mayoral forum Quinn stated her positions often at odds with our community. Anthony Weiner pandered to the crowd trying to show that he was one of us despite his marriage and Twittering past. He is better at pandering, in my opinion, that any of the other candidates for Mayor.

Mr. Quinn, Gay & Lesbian activities “involve unhealthy method’s” that bought Aids … and also shouldn’t continue.

For the safety of our sons, it’s time to have every mohel tested on a yearly basis. The cost are minimal compared to the price of a bris.

Whatever side of the issue you are on regarding metziza bpeh issue you have to admit one thing. Those rabbonim that do oppose it (Aguda, many chassidim etc) are just sucidal by supporting Quinn at the same time. If you are against metziza bpeh why not support Thomason who has said all along to revoke the metziza bpeh law.

Isn’t the job of politicians to listen to their voters?

    Another arrogant Mayor?

Politicians are suppose to pander, they represent us. They are not kings and need to consider their constituent interests. She has nothing in common with our community.

Gay marriage is statistically much more dangerous than MB, so is crossing the street. Ms. Quinn should consider refraining from promoting these activities before she weighs in upon a 3,000 year old tradition that gave the world the gifts of civilization and the freedoms we all enjoy.

As Benjamin Disraeli, former prime minister of Great Britain once said to a parliamentary opponent from Scotland who “accused” him of being a Jew:

“Yes, I am a Jew, and when the ancestors of the right honourable gentleman were brutal savages in an unknown island, mine were priests in the temple of Solomon.

Whatever the Talmudic rulings are, this practice seems disgusting, unnecessary, unhealthy for both parties and cultic. Bris without this should be asked for by all parents.

Isn’t it odd that a candidate who practices and supports alternate lifestyles would so “honestly” attack a religious practice which is not all that different in physical contact from that which is practiced between “consenting” adults? Will she demand the same testing and notification procedures in those instances, or is she just guilty of pandering?

the Talmud and the Rambam both say MB is for health reasons. Rav pupa say one can do MB on shobbas because if you do not do it, it can put the baby in danger. If it was really part on the brris, then one can do it just because. also they only said Metzitzah and never B’peh.

BTY the pro Metzitzah B’peh do you also put on cumin powder, the Talmud also says to do that?
