ARUTZ SHEVA 7 (http://bit.ly/13jAMAr) reports that the study, conducted by Dr. Rafi Mann and Dr. Azi Lev-On from Ariel University, shows that there is a direct correlation between the increase in the number of Israeli Jews who say they have become more observant and the increase in weekend sales of Israeli newspapers.
The Central Bureau of Statistics reports that 21% of Jews responding said they are more observant now than in the past, while only 14% checked “less observant.”
The Ariel University study revealed a stunning gain made by “observants” in that, even among Jews who listed themselves as “traditional,” 35% said they do not turn on a television during Shabbat, while 48% said they do not use the Internet.
The study concluded that, while weekend sales of Israeli newspapers are, by and large, what are keeping them afloat, publishers need to realize that weekend sales have pretty much stabilized, thus leaving them to contend with weekday numbers that continue to decrease.
Ma Tovu Ohalecha Yaakov. Find another country where this is the case. Our brothers and sisters are so similar to us. We need to stop being so angry and realize that every Jew is precious and every Jew serves Hashem, we just need to recognize and appreciate when they do.
The same goes for the NY Metropolitan area
Maybe the failing liberal media should write more favorably about Jews and Israel
