City Council Speaker Christine Quinn pulled in 24%, while former Comptroller William Thompson was third with 22%.

Former U.S. Rep Anthony Weiner dropped to 10% following his latest sexting scandal, followed by John Liu with 6% and Sal Albanese with 1%.

Polsters say de Blasio’s surge has been helped by the fallout from Weiner’s scandal along with a renewed criticism of the “stop and frisk,” and aided by a week’s worth of tv ads.

In a statement released on Tuesday, de Blasio campaign manager Bill Hyers said, “Whether we are ahead in the polls or behind, Bill de Blasio’s message has always been clear. He is the only Democrat who will break from the Bloomberg years by raising taxes on the wealthy to invest in universal pre-K and after-school programs, ending racial profiling, and fighting to save community hospitals.”

Maurice Carroll, director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute, said, “A few weeks ago, Public Advocate Bill de Blasio looked like an also-ran. Today, he’s the leader of the pack, and a winner in the runoffs. Follow the bouncing ball, folks. This line-up keeps changing,”

Carroll also added, “Nobody thinks former U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner will pack it in, but 52 percent of likely Democratic primary voters wish he’d go away and 51 percent say they’d never vote for him,”

A think he’s a pretty good candidate without any of the baggage Quinn or Wiener have.

Good to see Weiner near the bottom where he belongs. A lot can happen between now and the election, but a runoff is almost certain betwen 2 of the 3 frontrunners; Quinn, DeBlasio, and Thompson.

Good news!? Ask him what his definition of “wealthy” is before he raises your taxes to pay for ghetto pre-school.

Isn’t Bill DeBallsio the George Soros funded socialist candidate? Look it up on Google.
Let’s see, New Yorkers have a choice between a a Non-Jewish Pervert Weiner married to a Muslim who supports Jihad; A queer Lesbian Quinn, a woman (sort of) who is married to another woman (sort of); A left wing Liberal Socialist Bill DeBallsio who is heavily supported by a self hating Jewish Nazi sympathizer (Kapo) George Sorosh; Each one worse than the next…….

It’s time for a Republican Mayor. I’m glad I don’t live in New York.

Another democrat who thinks I am wealthy enough to afford new taxes. So why do I still live hand to mouth?

I wish we had another 4 years of Bloomy. I don’t like of the initiatives he tried to push ie Mitzezah B’peah and 16oz soda but overall he did a good job and kept us safe.

These candidates scare me to death. At least Weiner makes me laugh. I’m voting for the punch line.
