Germany – A Jewish group in the German city of Duesseldorf is urging a boycott of an upcoming concert by former Pink Floyd band member Roger Waters for using an inflatable pig featuring a Star of David during his show.

The director of the Jewish Community in Duesseldorf, Michael Szentei-Heise, said in a statement Thursday that Waters was an “intellectual arsonist” whose stage act used “anti-Semitic and National Socialist” imagery.
Waters, who could not immediately be reached for comment, is to perform his show “The Wall” in Duesseldorf on Sept. 6.
The English musician has previously rebuffed critics of the show, which has been performed about 200 times in the last three years, by saying it isn’t intended to be anti-Semitic.
The inflatable pig also features other religious, political and corporate symbols.
In the movie based on the album ‘the wall’, which is an admitted autobiographic story of waters’ life, the protagonist slowly descends into a being modeled closely after hitler, who’s salvation comes when he tears down the walls he built to hide behind. Apparently roger didn’t ‘tear down the wall’.
One line in “The Wall” is “Hey! Teacher! Leave those kids alone.” I tweeted Roger Waters “Hey! Roger! Leave those Jews alone.”
Waters is a child who never grew up. Hans Keller described the music of Pink Floyd as a “regression to childhood”.
Roger Waters is a long time Israel hater. He blames Israel and the Jews for all the troubles in the middle east but has been relatively quiet about it until fourth-wave antisemtism became an acceptable way of expressing Jewhatred and a staple of leftist-liberal ideology.
All you need is somebody good with a bow and arrow!!
Waters still can’t get past the fact that he did not know his own father, who was killed in WWII when Roger was an infant.
