Washington – The Obama administration declared victory on Sunday in its effort to get HealthCare.gov working smoothly for the vast majority of users, saying the site had reached a goal of handling 50,000 simultaneous users after a five-week “tech surge.”

In a six-page progress and performance report, administration officials said the troubled website could now handle at least 800,000 visitors per day, with the system remaining up at least 90 percent of the time.
The new performance levels mark significant improvement after the Obamacare website’s disastrous October 1 launch, when it crashed in the face of high traffic volumes and remained down 60 percent of the time for weeks.
But officials remain concerned about high volumes this month, with the potential for large numbers of people entering the site to apply for insurance coverage beginning January 1.

Does anybody realize that almost no doctors or hospitals are going to accept these new insurance plans? What good is cheap insurance when your only option for treatment is a veterinarian trained in Bermuda?
If you read the Ami ths week, and read John Loftus, you will read that the website was sabotaged by people who are agaunst it. you will see a real proof of people trying to bring Obama down.
If only that administration could be believed, which it can’t, we could then have been able to move away from the website disaster, which is not a policy issue, just plain stupidity and could focus on the real issues. For example, why, under the Affordable Care Act, are people having to pay so much MORE for health insurance, and with MUCH higher deductibles, copays, etc.? …and since the Prez said so many times, ‘If you like your plan, you could keep you plan’, how come millions are losing the plan that they chose and like’? -LIAR!
Besides for the original $600+ MILLION dollars that it took to build the original website disaster, how many additional HUNDREDS of MILLIONS did the ‘ five-week “tech surge” ‘ cost? Have we hit a BILLION yet? …Have any Democrats smelled the coffee yet? …or will they just keep following an apparent incompetent leader?
