Montreal- Two children from the ultra-Orthodox Jewish group Lev Tahor have been taken into protective custody by child-protection officials.

As reported by The Toronto Star (http://bit.ly/1hXmxYK) a lawyer for Lev Tahor confirmed that officials with the Chatham-Kent Children’s Services took the two children from the same family last Thursday night.
Children who are taken from their families have to appear before a judge within five days, says lawyer Chris Knowles.
The circumstances surrounding the seizure are unknown, but it has been said that the two children are not connected to the Quebec court ruling last month. That ruling stated that 14 children be taken into foster care. Another source says the children are a brother and sister, around 3 or 4 years of age.
The original Quebec case focused on children ranging in age from two months old to 16 years old. About 40 families from the Lev Tahor group left Quebec for Ontario on Nov. 18, just a few days before the ruling was announced.
Chatham-Kent child welfare authorities then requested a warrant on Dec. 4 to seize all the children. That request was denied, and an appeal is scheduled to be heard on Dec. 23.
Quebec authorities state they have documented evidence of neglect, poor physical health, lack of dental car, psychological abuse and homeschooling run by community members that falls below regional standards.
Nachman Helbrans, son of leader Schlomo Helbrans, has no comment on the children who were removed and said his religious community is being unfairly targeted.

The two children are the grandchildren of our dictator, “Shlomo Arez Helbranz” his daughters children, one of the children was beaten so badly that he was not breathing, so before he had a chance to die the parents rushed him to the hospital, once they got there, they where investigated and the authorities got to work …..

Unfortunately I have family members who were manipulated by Helbrans-Araz the dictator of this cult, with mind games, into this very cult in Canada, there are countless stories regarding there behavior towards there wife’s and kids.
Their way of life is truly against the Torah by every way means, all leading Rabbis came out against Helbrans-Arez, he is a “family destroyer” and marries off a 12 year old girl with elderly men who are in their 40 -50’s…. please do some research and find out the facts on your own.

The Quebec government allowed those 14 children to go to a few FRUM CHASIDISH FAMILIES IN MONTREAL (and these families accepted these children)
but they chose to get on some buses and escape.
We should send over our own team of people to investigate why these things are said. Thats the only way to find out more about this cult.
btw: this is a money making cult as it collected around 6 million dollars so far for them.

I am not Satmar and neither are you. But I know at least that much that your post is false on every fact you stated.
They might not teach their boys a well rounded English but their girls receive a pretty decent English education.
They decide on their own about how to vaccinate their children (I believe most do and it’s mandatory in Satmar schools to vaccinate)
And Satmar more than any other community (as opposed to Litvish) marry girls and boys of the same age. The fact that you could write otherwise shows how little you know about them. Whenever the Litvish world writes about their Shidduch crisis they write about reducing the age gap, just like in Satmar (or other Chassidish communities) where there is no Shidduch crisis.
