Willamsburg, NY - Police commissioner Raymond Kelly made a personal visit to Satmar Grand Rabbe, Rabbi Zalamn Teitelbaum. to wish a happy Passover, and to assure the community a safe and secure holiday.

The commissioner also made a stop at the Satmar Matzo bakery on Broadway to see hand made matzos and its operation.

political analyst are suggesting that in last few months commissioner Kelly has made attempts to cozy up his relation with many Jewish communities, as he is exploring a bid to run for mayor in new york city in 2009.

comments - arrow Very Nice. What's the big deal. How many Matzoh's is the Bakery handing out to poor family's this year. That would be a nice thing to read on the blog. I know everyone needs to make a living. There are those who just do not make it without help from others.

    They're locking out the Aronim?

    >>I can't understand why a Rebbe has to have his posse covering every inch of space around him,

Because the pictures look better in Kol ha'oilom kulo.

    >>why is there only orange juice on the rabbis table?

It's probably around breakfast time and coke is neither breakfest food or Rebbish food. What would you suggest for the Goy? Wine?

If he came for security/safety reason why not speak with one of the Jewish officials, why talk with the spiritual leader?

Glad I buy from a different Matzo Bakery!

Gut gezukt. Why the hell do we always have to "Gang up" around our Rabonnim? Why for example, do we have at every public dinnger (like Kollel Shomrei Hachomes, for example) 3 gabaiaim standing behind every Rebbe?
