Rockland County, NY - County Executive Honors Frum Fire Volunteers That Saved A Life.

Rockland County, NY - County Executive C. Scott Vanderhoef in his State of the County Address Apr 1, made a point to recognized and honor 2 frum firefighter that saved on a cold early morning on Dec. 18, 2007 at about 1:30 a.m. to save the life of 81-year-old Francis Lee.

in his Speech Vanderhoef said: "we are once again proud to honor two Rockland volunteer firefighters for their extraordinary bravery and courage in the face of great danger.

"We cannot and will not forget the bravery and selfless dedication of all the men and women of the Spring Valley Fire Department, the Spring Hill Ambulance Corps, and the Spring Valley Police Department, especially ex-Chief Scott Maia and, in particular, that of Firefighters Chaim Rosenberg and Abraham Lenorovitz."

But when you "Represent" the Frum Community (in a way), then the Symbols (of that Community should be there, as they were on MR. Rosenberg!!!

One of them was wearing his Kippah, the other was not. His bravery is what was honored here, lets not forget that. Just because he is not wearing it shouldn't diminish this great honor bestowed upon him.
