Jerusalem’s Kedem Auction House spokesman Asher Gold says it sold the collection Wednesday for $10,000.

The papers surfaced last year at a Tel Aviv flea market and some went on display in Berlin before they were auctioned.

Though they don’t appear to contain previously unknown information, the auction house says they provide a window into how the prosecution team approached the ground-breaking war crimes trial after World War II.

At Nuremberg, charges like “war crimes” were established for the first time in international law.

Of the 23 defendants, 12 were sentenced to death including Hermann Goering, Adolf Hitler’s air force chief and top aide.
