Poway, CA - Sheriff's deputies in Poway launched a hate crime investigation into the vandalism of a on north San Diego County synagogue.
Sheriff's deputies say, vandals spray-painted white supremacist remarks on the sign outside of the Ner Tamid Synagogue and deputies say that some of the neo-nazi symbols and letters are code for "heil Hitler." It's being classified a hate crime.
Synagogue members were in shock and disbelief and insisted the act would not be tolerated.
An $11,500 reward was offered by San Diego County Crime Stoppers, the Hate Crime Reward Fund and the Anti-Defamation League for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the graffiti.
