Fire officials say a custodian accidentally mixed two chemicals usually put in the pool separately, that caused the vapor cloud and a strong odor.
Fire officials say the custodian was taken to the hospital for evaluation, no one else was injured.
The center was closed for the day, while a pool engineering firm was called in to dispose of the mixture. Tests indicated there was no problem with the air quality.
