Chicago, IL – A loose coalition of Jewish groups, including JewsForObama.net, is now working on putting together an ad to run in the New York Times and perhaps elsewhere that will essentially make the case for why Jewish voters should support Obama.

One of the co-founders said “The ad will say why the Jewish community supports Barack Obama.”
Ruth Greenspan Bell, another co-founder, said JewsForObama.net is trying to “set the record straight. We think much of the stuff that has been going around on the Internet is inaccurate and misleading.”
Obama, was last night at a party at the Israeli Embassy and told the gathering crowd, “I pledge to you that I will do whatever I can in whatever capacity to not only ensure Israel’s security but also to ensure that the people of Israel may thrive and prosper and build on the enormous promise that was made 60 years ago.”
Obama wants to meet pres. of Iran. With NO pre-conditions-NONE! That means he is free to present his views on wiping Israel off the map, and in doing so will be accorded all respect that a world leader would get if he wished to discuss Global Warming, World Hunger, etc, or other issues. To Not destroy the Jewish People in a second Holocaust is Not a requirement of Sen Obama for him to meet with world “leaders”. Am I understanding this right? (the concept of No Pre-conditions)

Jews almost ALWAYS reflexively vote for the more liberal of any two candidates (the only exception I can think of: when Rudy ran for mayor in 1993 and 1997), often against their own political interests, out of a misguided belief that this automatically constitutes true “social justice” and is following the teaching of Isaiah about feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, taking care of the widow and the orphan, etc. Many consider such a commitment to be the equivalent of, or even superior to, traditional religious practice in doing the will of G-d. Even after all of Jimmy Carter’s incompetency and nonsense (leaving Khomeini in power in Iran and armtwisting Begin to give up the Sinai), they STILL gave him about 60% support in 1980 against Reagan, who got just 40%. Protecting the liberal domestic agenda is more important to many of these people than protecting Israel. As long as B.O. mouths the appropriate pro-Israel platitudes once in a while to keep the Jewish fat-cat donors happy, he’ll get at least 75% of the Jewish vote, maybe more — despite his pro-Palestinian friends like Wright, statements by Illinois Arabs that they consider B.O. to be sympatico to them and their cause, and Senator McCain’s solidly pro-Israel voting record during his many years in Congress notwithstanding.
Can anyone list ANY black government leaders that have actually benefited their constituents including whites? For some reason, all the black Mayors/leaders I know of were failures, from NYC to Chicago to Washington etc. Not that every white is perfect, but the blacks just don’t have the statistics to show for themselves. Obama, has some of the worst records to show. Thanks to the media for publicizing his virulent anti-semitic past.
Obama needs to announce that his running mate (VP) is Jimmy Carter. Maybe then if there are still any self-hating Jews still sitting on the fence they can proudly declare for Obama.
