The Boston Globe (http://b.globe.com/1nExClp) reports a  game called “Jail the Jews’’ was played at two elementary schools and  a few months after that swastikas and anti-Semitic graffiti were found at Bedford High School and one elementary school.

A community forum headed by Superintendent Jon Sills will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the John Glenn Middle School auditorium. Sills also met with hundreds of people last week from Temple Isaiah to talk about the school district’s response to the incidents.

In two other incidents, a child said a classmate told her they were going to destroy her country because she is Jewish, and another a Jewish child was told she couldn’t have a cracker because Jewish people don’t believe in Jesus Christ.

Sills said comments were floating around the schools that Jews were responsible for killing Jesus whend discussing differences between Christmas and Hanukkah.

All took place at the Lieutenant Job Lane Elementary School and the Lieutenant Eleazer Davis Elementary School.

In November, a swastika was carved onto a playground slide at Lieutenant Job Lane Elementary School with graffiti that said, “Jews Kill Them All.” Swastikas were found two weeks later in a boys bathroom at Bedford High School.

Police know about the incidents but no investigation has been opened, as the incidents are not criminal, but the graffiti is being looked into as a hate crime, according to Detective Lieutenant Scott Jones.
