    The accident occurred around 5 p.m. Tuesday in New Brunswick.

    NJ Transit spokesman John Durso Jr. says witnesses reported that the man was leaning in the path of the oncoming train from the station platform when he was struck. About 300 people were aboard the New York-bound Northeast Corridor train, but no injuries were reported.

    Three of the customers hit by the body parts were being treated at a hospital for injuries that were not onsidered life-threatening, while the fourth declined medical treatment.

    Northeast Corridor service was temporarily suspended following the accident.
